Anniversary JPII Rose Canvas

  A canvas I made to commemorate my husband’s and my anniversary.  The calendar date of 17 is on of my grid squares and the rose is the first rose to bloom on our rose bush that we planted on our anniversary last year.  The roses are a special breed made especially to honor the late John Paul the Great.  The rose, like our marriage, was one of the most splendid things I’ve ever encountered.
